Some art by my friend Temerity on Discord. Its a bit of an older design that lacks my wingpaws, but its still one of my favorite self indulgent lewd arts. So why not share it. Enjoy dragon lovers.

Some more silly art for the world to see, this time me as a little plushie done by my bf @nexeron.bsky.social. Funny story behind this too, there's an irl plushie of me as well now lol

Another art drop for fun. This is an MH icon styled thing my Bf @nexeron.bsky.social did for me for my hatchday a few months ago. I'm a huge monster hunter fan, so getting my own icon was awesome.

Oh my gosh yes, that exact sort of thing makes me so annoyed when I pick up a book to read it because its got a cool dragon on it or something. Then it turns out to be a metaphor or its all about the riders/slayers instead haha

My main issue genuinely is just like...if the dragon *needs* a visage form/transformed form. Why not just...make them anthro or a bipedal version of their dragon self. Why must everything become elf or human every time lmao

I hate that too honestly. I think its genuinely just because "they're bestial looking lol" and people's brains turn off past that point lol

Interdimensional terrorist organization is absolutely crazy, I would've never imagined a dragon in such a position ngl haha.

It does come down to subjective opinion of course, but as a "trope" is just find it rather repulsive. Dragons should be dragons in fantasy/stories. I don't see orcs turning into humans or dwarves transforming into humans. Let dragons just be dragons imo. As silly as that is to put into words :p

Agreed, dragon antags can be really fun, but it seems like they always lose to something dumb like a mcguffin or some other nonsensical "instant win" artifact. Or they're just the minion of some "actual" big bad. Or even worse they're being mind controlled to be evil, thats my least favorite one lol

Does anyone else ever feel like dragons in general are under utilized in fantasy? Like sure, they're certainly "there". But I feel like they're either A. Just generic antagonists or B. Get transformed into an anime girl or something and don't actually get to be a dragon very often. Gimme dragons PLS

Since I've yet to post much on Bluesky, I figured I'd post the most up to date ref for my dragon Lorias the Stormweaver. Done by a friend of mine from Discord without a bluesky himself :p

I agree with this whole heartedly, I'm so bored of the whole "Its a monster race so you can just be endlessly sadistic or violent towards them and its okay" stuff. It feels gross honestly. Some world building lore ends up sounding like the estranged thanksgiving uncle you do your best to avoid.
