Is physical media that little respected?? I managed to track down the B-52's Bouncin' The Satellites on vinyl (mainly for Wig and Theme For a Nude Beach, also trying to complete the set) and as a "Trasit Stiffener" the guy has included a 1964 Eden Kane album.

The Salem times were directly from the book that Matthew Hopkins wrote. I see a lot of politicians using similar tactics in that they whip up a storm of blame to gain power. We're not too far removed from those times. Hopkins and Stearne were travelling serial killers who enjoyed fame and money.

An Anonymous voice from the Witch Trails from the first book I read about witches. The book was more "They talked to the devil and rode broomsticks with cats on the back" than something that respected them as real people like Witchland does, but this has always stayed with me.

I've read a few accounts of the witch trials and every Halloween I take a moment to remember the nameless victims. Witches are not evil crones who ride broomsticks. This book is one of the first I've read that shows the women as people, my heart will always go out to them. @witchesetc.bsky.social

Yet another reason why I only listen to music from the 50's-early 1990's (with exceptions, if a musician or band I liked from the good times releases an album, I'll buy it) Has to be physical media only, preferably original vinyl. Writing this while playing Gary Moore's Wild Frontier album on CD.

1986-1987 and a film is rented for one night because it has Harrison Ford in it. I've never forgotten the film and hunted for Mosquito Coast for well over a decade, then I discover a DVD and import it. It's a flipper with widescreen on one side and cropped on the other and it's VERY out of print.
