In October 2021, a Texas State Representative initiated an inquiry that targeted Mike Curato’s graphic novel Flamer, alongside roughly 850 other books. One year later, Flamer was one of the most banned books in America. This year it was banned from school libraries in Alberta: buff.ly/CsU6W5e
