Reorganized my side of the room to have my art stuff easier to reach outside of work. I am pleased with how long my watercolor tubes have lasted. I got a lot of them when I was in college about a decade or more ago.

Fall/Autumn is coming up soon! Time to post some cold-weather Quills. The colder seasons aren't my favorite but I am looking forward to maybe seeing some snow and it being less hot when I go outside.

Autumn/Fall Related illustration of Quill the Bee floating in the middle of a dark grey canvas with a white ribbon curling around her back and over her right leg. Quill wears a fall outfit including: a thicker cardigan jacket with the tricolor of orange, purple and teal, golf ball-sized white pearl earrings, a white turtleneck shirt, grey leggings and white short boots with a zipper going up the side. Quill winks at the viewer while holding a black drawing stylus. Suspended above her is the word--"Colorful" in all caps in the sequence of rainbow colors. Each letter is one single color in the sequence and has a neon glow of the same color around it.

While I am updating old sleepwear illustrations of Quill, I thought I would take another crack at updating the colors a little for this illustration as well.

Colored illustration of Quill and Apparition standing side by side wearing opposing nightwear apparel. Quill is standing in a hunched pose with a worn smile, tired eyes while holding a blue mug in one hand and a black and white cookie in the another. Quill wears a long tricolor night shirt that reaches her ankles in yellow, magenta and blue. She also wear a white night cap over her antenna.
Apparition, in opposition to Quill, is wearing a black and white sheer bathroom style night gown with fur trim around the sleeves and bottom hem. Apparition wears a very refreshed, smug smile and looks much more alert than Quill.

Illustration of Quill in front a vertical stripe tricolor background of yellow, orange and blue. She is leaping forward to the right of the page, winking and holding a presenting pose with her top set of arms while holding various tools including: a large stylus, eraser and protractor ruler tool. Working on a few more concepts for the Quillopedia. Finally sitting down to nail how Quill looks and functions while unclothed. I wanted her to still have her bee stripes somewhere besides just on her jacket. #Quillopedia

Sketch of Quill's chest and how the heart shaped fuzz she has covers the top of her breasts while they sit underneath.

Sketch of how to stylize Quill as her standard bean shaped, simple proportions versus when you would like to give her more defined legs and other body parts. An important part of Quill's design is her stripe pattern fuzz that covers her lower midsection to bottom. This pattern travels around her body in the shape of faux boyshorts/bikini panties. Quill also has a heart shaped patch of fuzz that covers her chest.

Sketch reference of how to stylize Quill without her clothing from her normal bean shape gradually to a more defined humanized form with a short waist. Quill's lower midsection and buttocks has a tricolor bee stripe pattern that is shaped around her legs in fuzz. The fuzz stripe takes on the appearance of a faux boyshorts.

Megaman X | I just wanted to add Axl in here with the others that I did. It has been an inside joke between me and @blkmkt.net to draw Axl as a goofy toddler with his two dads.

Lineless set of illustrations based on the character from the Megaman X Series, Axl, a medium size reploid character design with the face of a young anime boy. They have a star slash facial scar, green eyes and brown hair the bursts from the back of their helmet in the shape
of a star burst or a explosion. Their helmet has two elongated points on the side that point up like cat ears, a blue circular crystal gem in the middle framed over a red visor that covers the top of their eye brows. A single stripe travels vertically up from the gem going to the back of the head on the helmet.
The illustration displays Axl in a close to on-model facial front view side by side to a more compressed front view that gives him rounder, rosy cheeks, bigger eyes and a frog mouth-like smile. The rest of the illustrations are of him with these same proportions with an exaggerated laughing face, excited face, disgusted face and angry face.

Lineless illustration rotations of Megaman X (X) without their helmet going through various expressions in a sequence including: laughing, content, crying, disgust, angry and yelling. In the illustration as his emotions change his pupil changes color in the center of yellow-green iris. When X is angry, his pupil changes to a bold red in an in-human/robotic look. When X is crying his eyes become more detailed, glossy and human-like.
