(Last time my partner and I were in France we loaded up on aged cheese before taking the train from Paris to Strasbourg, and when I unwrapped one of the cheeses and the smell permeated the carriage got *so many* approving looks from everybody else :-)

If I could find a softer dilator (like the Tantus I also use) that's 2.3" I think I'd actually have a fighting chance of being able to dilate enough to hire an interior decorator, but, alas, if they're bigger than 1.5" they're either black or try to look like a lifelike party-sized clit.

Welp, it turns out I don't have birthing hips; I get the ridiculous thing about halfway (-1/16th) in and it runs aground on my pelvic girdle (and then the granulation at 3 o'clock starts complaining bitterly about being squashed between the dilator and pelvic bones.

The vwells have a flanged base, so I can clamp my thighs around them and mainly keep them into place with only an occasional whack with a hammer. (okay, okay, I just reach down and shove the thing deeper in, but it's the thought that counts ;-)
