I wanted to do a serious painting and record the whole drawing process, just to have an example for the youtube. It ended up taking over 10 hours, so I'll have to do multiple x16 speed edits to make it at all palatable to watch.

Im going to be the wrong temperature, continuously, all day. I won’t be able to take a walk in nature on my lunch break. It’s downtown, with noisy cars driving by constantly, I can’t even sit outside.

I’m going to have to seriously face my addiction because I won’t be able to smoke during the day. I am going to have to cut the time I spend with both of my partners significantly to rearrange my schedule fairly. I’m going to lose over an hour of my life every day to traffic.

My gender and presentation is just ONE of the things I am going to have to think about now. I am probably going to have to ask for a DIAGNOSIS so I can beg and plead for ACCOMMODATIONS. I am going to have to leave my cat, who has literally always had human company, alone for hours.

It is so fucking hard to even know how to dress. It is so difficult to know what to do with myself when even the tiniest bit of formality is expected because the rules for formality are SO gendered and men and women are subjected to totally different rules

Honestly there are endless reasons this upsets me. My quality of life is going to absolutely plummet. I have gone about 6 years the comfort and pleasure of not thinking about my gender most days because I don’t get witnessed by other people and I’m soon going to be witnessed every. Day.

I know it’s a sign that I am very spoiled and privileged but I got told yesterday that I will have to work in an office full time soon. I have had WFH as at least a part time option for my entire career and I’ve built my whole life around this flexibility and it’s all going to fall apart
