Here's an example of the captions in the lightbox, the extra description when present can be seen on a click. This was a large learning process (wrote a bit about the process here: petrel.bearblog.dev/filtered-gal...) and I still have to fill in a rather large art backlog, but happy with it for now.

Digital drawing of a person with a human body and a stylized black wolf head. A sprout grows out of the top and they have silver glasses. The reference notes the head can also be represented by absence/negative space symbolically in art, and in a mirrored drawing the wolf head reflects the clouds.

working on this sona design bestowed upon me in a dream • #art

A few digital drawings in varying complexity of a wolf with a white mane and a dark brown face, with a green sprout growing from the top of its head and glasses. The design is inspired by a nonbreeding atlantic puffin which is pictured with a dark face, and the caption says "had a dream i had a new sona
inspired by nonbreeding atlantic puffin that i was calling the "exploded puffinsona" because nonbreeding atlantic puffin kind of looks like a cartoon bomb exploded in its face. and this was the design (roughly) from my dream"

Artfight is in less than two weeks, share attacks from previous years! Technically my first Art Fight was 2014 (before it was a site... eek) but this will be my 10th year on site regardless ⚔️ a few selected attacks I've enjoyed

A humanoid in a jacket heavily adorned with metal parts, flaps, and patches sits with a tern on her knee and a far eastern curlew flying past her face, obscuring her head.

A painting of two characters, one upside down and facing inward towards the center. On the left is a tan, reserved character with gold glasses and graying short black hair. On the right is a pale brunette man with angular features and a worried expression. Both characters are wearing gray suits. Purple "strings" connect the characters, and a scale design is faintly in the background.

A drawing of a red-haired, freckled girl looking sternly into the viewer's. Her face overlaps with a brightly colored, partially transparent red fox's head, and their eyes overlap

A drawing of a brown-haired, freckled woman with a faded outline of an alligator and Florida ghost orchid in the background. The energy is moody, atmospheric, and swampy.
