There's also a difference between educating people on a threat, and interviewing that threat, especially when the threat brings along her own camera to use that interview to push her agenda. In this case, I think Lorenz made a mistake in actually talking to CR.

So, this is actually my best friend. And I want to note she's been the victim of a years-long dedicated hate campaign. She's done shit I disagree with, but the harassment she's received has been absolutely vile and vicious, and mostly stems from her being fat and silly.

"Sad Jews fucking" is how I once saw the original described. But some people hear the first verse and assume it's gospel. I don't think Rufus made it happy, though certainly not as sad as Cohen or Buckley. I just find it funny he ruined the rhyme by using proper grammar.

The weird thing about his version is how he says "you" instead of "ya," so it no longer rhymes with "hallelujah." He's a phenomenal singer, but then he uses proper grammar that doesn't fit the song.
