![A Letter from the Editor-in-Chief
Long time no see, dear readers!
After a brief* hiatus, hahabean is back publishing a newsletter. The illustrious offices of our publishing empire, located on the 49th floor of the Time & Life Building in New York City, have sat empty due to renovations for the last few years (contractor delays, scaffolding union dispute, Pinkertons called, rest of story pending litigation).
Rest assured, however, our fearless C-suite have made a series of buybacks ensuring the long-term financial and creative success of the firm. We have also taken action to keep our writers and editors just the right amount of miserable so that they feel the need to write things, but not so miserable they pick up a drug habit.
As part of this relaunch, I welcome you to The Tern: a newsletter for those loyal to the ever-growing beanstalk (term for our subscriber base. Coined after $450k in billings to an NDA'd advertising firm). The Tern will fly on the first Sunday of every month with one or two articles from my new, meandering blog THE SIMIAN MIND, as well as two new sections, for added edification:
Around the Web, where I pick a couple videos or articles the staff have read/watched recently and found interesting.
