The good news is the Dungeon Crawler Carl fad will be over in a year or two.

Thanks for reading! I realize there haven’t been a lot of updates while I’ve been on a project out of town for four months, but the campaign is still very much alive, hoping to get back to it in the coming weeks.

I backed it on Kickstarter when the second book came out and really bummed out when I got the PDFs and read them.

Were you able to write the horrible misogyny out of it?

NYC has been my home for 23 years, and I have never been more proud of my city and my fellow working citizens than I am today. Grassroots movement by the people sent Mamdani to the top, and billionaires, Dem establishment, and the financial class are in a cold sweat. YOU LOVE TO SEE IT. #ILoveNY

I am an exceedingly casual user of the social media that I’m familiar with, and am still relatively quite new to Bluesky, so I know very little. Thank you!

Desiree Marcel @pearlware.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I’ll definitely try that, I wasn’t sure if Bluesky suppressed posts with links in the top level posts like most of the other socials do.

Thank you so much! When I first started doing these I was afraid they wouldn’t be that good because 99% of what I’ve written for the last thirty years have been archaeological site reports, but I guess that skill set translates well to TTRPG recaps! 😃

No session recap this week as we eschewed playing to instead watch UT embarrass themselves at Ohio State 😐. So here’s a little discussion of some of the house rules we’re using. Link in comments!

No problem! Since my group won’t be playing this coming week I’m thinking instead of a session recap I’ll write a post on Substack about my d12 based skill and initiative system I’m using in our Arden Vul campaign.
