i used to be a 4am-12pm sleeper until i met my wife who is a consistent 10:30pm-7am sleeper and now I'm in bed at 11pm and asleep around 2am.... it lowkey feels isolating esp with friends in earlier timezones (im EST) BUT my mental health did improve greatly. i hope you find a happy medium!!!!!!

The Blue Faerie 💙 #ThexSnaps

A gpose of my OC Ariel Lazul (Duskwight M Elezen with pale blue hair, blue eyes, pastel blue and lilac makeup, ornate blue body markings) in a dress made of water with open hips - that is held in place via a set of nipple piercings - along with a white fur boa, jewellery and white lace trimmed gloves.
They drift through the watery halls of castle Il Mheg's castle, riding their own White Mage staff like a broomstick as their hair fans out behind them.
A halo of ice and frost floats behind them and a magical trail of glowing ethereal fish flows beneath them.

and if that idea makes you feel defensive........ maybe you DO just find them annoying and maybe you're trying to make a Hit Tweet to Get Likes and need to stop & ask yourself why you can't just say "i think this person is annoying" or "i dont like that thing".

010

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 15h

like your feelings are valid or w/e but have you considered looking into the root of why you feel that way about that specific person. like do you Actually just have "off vibes" about them or are you being bigoted and/or phobic LOL.

110

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 15h

i wish i could repost LRP like 100 times. you also need to check yourself if you start elaborating on what those "off vibes" are and you just start listing things you're making up in your head to morally justify you finding someone annoying or irritating. some things are inside thoughts.

i'm gonna need y'all to learn that it's ok to dislike someone just off vibes. it doesn't make you a bad person to not mesh with someone. what DOES make you a bad person is harassing them and trying to make up some sort of moral justification as to why you dislike them, so you can appear righteous

#BlacktoberXIV #oc:Trinity #oc:Tula 4. Endeavor The path of Azem is a long, arduous one. Often with detours, depending on who is holding the map...

Tula looks helplessy down at her compass. Trinity had lead them in circles for hours, and now she must free them from the orchard of Eureka Anemos. The confused wayfarer is clad in black, Tataru's blue crystal necklace standing out against the dark fabric. Her clothing is lined with lavender trim. Trinity, oppositely, wears all white with grey trim. She has on a white hatinator with a link of pink flowers, which match her earrings. She enjoys the company of a morpho, while other blue butterflies seem drawn to her loving presence

#BlacktoberXIV #oc:Magena 3. Self-Love In a world that would betray me, sexualize me, use me. I choose to be the heart other's won't afford me. And in the end, there will be no love worth the price of my own

Magena dances with herself, a succubi tail shadows around their bow. The leading Magena is kissing the underjaw of the following Magena, who cracks a small smile. Her eyes are obscured from the camea, but you can see her lower lashes below the brim of her bang. Behind the duo, an array of Succubi watch their masters play

i think it's really hard to take a character ""in power"" and have them convincingly manipulated or have their arm convincingly twisted behind their back, without the use of some like. cheap loophole in their rules or their core beliefs. sometimes you have to pull out the classics and it works.

010

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 03/10/2026

and the airs of self-deprecation aren't actually believed. there's no actual impending sense of doom, no fear of the unknown, no worries about their eventual death. but they know the immortal Might have those fears, so they use it to convince them that a "brief tryst" will be fine.

110

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 03/10/2026

i think my favorite flavor of mortal x immortal is the toxic flavor when the mortal is the one pursuing the relationship and manages to horribly manipulate and guilt the immortal into their advances. "i could die at any moment" "you'll forget about me eventually so we might as well now..."

their age gap does wonders (aquila at 33, scaevola at 23) but it's funny having aquila being the autistically devoted dog and scaevola be the ever-suspicious "wait you guys would ACTUALLY die for the emperor????" crow. despite both of them being victim to the empire despite serving it.

010

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 02/10/2026

i just put scaevola into his 50th rp thread with my wife so he's on my mind. but even tho him and aquila were made entirely separately, their accidental parallels are my favorite. aquila with the 3rd legion, scaevola with the 1st as quintus' tribunus...... aquila, delusional. scaevola, desperate.

110

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 02/10/2026

(visibly shaking trying to not randomly info-dump about my own garlean ocs) they just have to be a little pathetic ok there needs to be a bite to them if they're going to still throw around "glory to the emperor". QUINTUS didnt make it, how's your evil villain better w/o being a cartoon?? WAKE UP.

170

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 02/10/2026

bro i'm so glad to hear it because it's literally so boring in 99% of rp contexts. something specifically about the, like, haughty attitude when their entire empire is being destroyed, in a civil war no less if it's ~6.0. atp, devoted villain soldiers need to be scared, desperate, vulnerable imo.

pearl ✦ pink clouding from the thrill of it @pearlborne.halmarut.org · 01/10/2026

it feels like this happens every time a centralized site is made in any context for xiv players, either citing square's TOS or laws in certain countries abt nudity or explicit/sexual content, and somehow it's only ever about "vanilla smallclothes standards" and targeting queer & fem characters LOL

idk if it'll do anything but i DO think people who like/enjoy rphub should make their disappointment about how the mods are handling the no nsfw rule enforcement known.

returning to this post to say it's deeply disappointing that moderators are clearly enforcing the rules with a bias and will capitulate to bullies targeting specific members of the community and their characters instead of properly reviewing and tossing out reports. images and characters should NOT be getting taken down because of "what if they're not wearing any underwear behind the dress slit?" if nothing's showing and nothing's actually breaking the rules then it should NOT be taken down. you cannot sit here and claim that you're enforcing vanilla ffxiv standards when vanilla items such as the 2b glams, the ao dai, etc. exist that are much skimpier than many of the things y'all take down that get uploaded to the site. i'm genuinely considering deleting my account and deleting the plugin if the moderators can't pull it together and draw the line at what is nsfw and needs to be enforced, state censorship laws or not. at some point you're not "playing safe," you're allowing harassment.
