He probably believes those very British Unicorns that pop up on flags, coins etc. really do exist. Nothing wrong with them though. It's just reality he has a problem with.

Of course you’re right, logically - but factually, in terms of their actual statements and, more specifically, their actions? It would appear that the two things are very much interconnected.

Whilst a good deal of the Green motion is politically inept and unnecessarily self-defeating, the fact remains that the entire Israeli government is Zionist AND racist. Go figure.

Love to see Syed playing Daniel Hannan at waffle waffle. They're now competing to be the King of Being Wrong About Everything. Hannan is reigning monarch and Syed is the Pretender.

Meanwhile. BBC Norfolk has a story about a farmer who missed out on the Sustainable Farming Initiative because it was 1st come 1st served and it quickly ran out of money. The SFI replaced EU subsidy - but BBC fail as usual to point to Brexit as responsible.I wonder which way this farmer voted?

Can’t think why, but I’m beginning to feel sorry for Farage. Imagine being so blind to reality that you only see what you want to see. How confusing it must be when reality catches up with you every day. The effort that must go into trying bend one’s view to fit that reality must be exhausting.

'Five men arrested near RAF Fairford on suspicion of terror offences were UK nationals from London, police say' (BBC) Farage,as always, plays the race card and treads in his own shit.

Whilst not entirely responsible for Starmer's muted response to the rise of neo-fascism, Mahmood as Home Sec.is symbolic of the appeasement he fostered. Unfortunately Burnham shows every sign - or silence- of continuing this denial of the threat by parroting the nonsense of 'legitimate concerns'.

peanco2025.bsky.social @peanco2025.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
Meanwhile Mahmood stokes the flames of bigotry with the help of BBC News. Burnham goes awol on the issue and the normalisation of fascism results in this monstrosity of Hitler Youth UK being groomed.

Lisa Dolittle pops up again with nothing to say. The BBC News meanwhile continues to act as Reform News and the Tory placemen remain at the helm. As Culture Sec she hasn't done anything of note. In fact nothing at all.

According to the BBC he’s just an ‘anti-migrant activist’. This is like saying ‘Mr Hitler was a politician’.

Update: BBC News has just caught up with the news! Thomas is no longer just the organiser of ‘anti-migrant protests’ . Now, according to BBC News, he’s an anti-migrant ‘activist’. It’s as if they are trying every-which-way to avoid calling him what he really is - a white supremacist on the make.

Naive? Infantile? Like a puppy? Just like his many fans? But far from innocent. Does he not realise that there is a real world out there and sitting on the fence singing pop songs, whilst continuing to pile on the cash, is simply untenable for real artists and grown ups?

peanco2025.bsky.social @peanco2025.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
This didn't happen according to BBC News online. Thomas is simply described as a 'protester'. Seems like all the real journalists- the foreign correspondents - are being kept away from this and we're left with the interns.

Lisa Dolittle. Probably vying with Nadine Dorries to be the most useless Culture Secretary since the post was created. Name one thing she has actually achieved since being appointed? That’s not a trick question by the way.

Emergency Notice: multiple car crash of an interview on Radio4 this am. Thought to involve a woman masquerading as a serious politician. The Emergency services have been informed that she forgot to take her medication this am and veered off into an insane rant. The interviewer survived - we believe?

History may indeed repeat itself. The current government is in thrall to the media and Burnham has suddenly become very camera shy. Is it because he appointed a Home Secretary who, by all accounts, sympathises with the 'legitimate concerns' of these neo-fascists? Her silence speaks volumes.

peanco2025.bsky.social @peanco2025.bsky.social · 08/09/2026
Perhaps he's too busy trying to find his Home Secretary? She seems to have completely disappeared. Last seen? If you spot or hear from her please contact 10 Downing Street asap. Andy is worried about her silence on the Blackshirts and is waiting to hear what he should say, if anything?

The common denominator? Mahmood as Home Secretary (allegedly). Her deafening silence on the Blackshirt thugs speaks volumes about Labour's cowardice - or approval of the fascists' 'legitimate concerns'. Burnham's biggest mistake so far was to reappoint her.

And CMason@BBC back from his sojourn (at Reform Camp or interview for a job at GB News?) singularly fails to disabuse Farage's false claim that his no show was on police advice. Instead he merely repeats the claim - as per usual. Why doesn't he just read the Reform press release - oh he does!

Norfolk now has a Reform PCC who parrots the ridiculous notion of ‘two-tier policing’ and is intent on abolishing DEI. He’s an ex-copper marking the homework of the police. He was elected by less than 6% of all eligible voters. His not speaking to local media on the Thetford riots is a blessing.

My hope is that he does something about the violent racism (terrorism?) being inflicted on asylum seekers, refugees and others. His quietism is contributing to the normalisation of this racist thuggery as ‘legitimate concerns’ or simply ’protest’. Whereas it is terror for those who are the victims.

Mahmood seems to have gone on holiday with Burnham. Her silence is deafening. Appointing her will, as long as she remains in post, be a major disincentive for former Lab supporters to rejoin the Party. A possible calamitous decision by Burnham.

Regardless of the opening reference to 'the top universities', I found myself feeling a good deal of empathy with the author(s). As a former academic in a '92 University, these developments are anything but new. Perhaps our students and staff, unlike Exerter's, didn't warrant this new found concern?

Burnham has re-appointed a Culture Sec.-Nandy, who has zero achievements to her name in terms of fumigating the BBC of Tory placemen and the fanboys and girls of Reform. Whilst Starmer aped Reform policies- eg. Mahmood, the BBC News was aping GB News and the Daily Mail. I can't see that changing.

The privatisation of the FIFA World Cup by Infantino and Trump Inc. will hopefully end up in the same grave as the European Super League. Either that, or it will morph into a comically misnamed 'World Series' Cup with the USA playing Argentina over and over with 'hydration' breaks every 10 minutes.
