This made me go and check that you weren't posting all these pics of AM for...reasons (well, one in particular). Phew!

Three points on the road for the Lasses today. Two games, six points, three goals, none conceded, top of the WSL2. Not a bad start. #NUFC #HWTL

I think Stormbringer was the very first fantasy novel I read, back in the day. I was well into the Elric, Corum, and Cornelius books. Perhaps it's time I paid a visit to those worlds again. .

Created an account, then hardly used it, eventually stopped looking at it (although the account still exists). Decided I only needed one primarily text-based app and that was Bluesky.

New season, new manager, same old awkward, rambling, boring questions from LT.

keith b @peakflow.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Yep, Option 1 for me also. The short video ahead of the survey showed that they'd considered a total re-work but the consensus had been to keep the core elements and make them less intricate. Mission accomplished, I reckon.

By keeping an experienced player who scored 16 goals IAC last season? Struggling to understand your reasoning here.

I tried to submit a bid, but it said the items couldn't be shipped to the UK. :(

Another tall lass! Average height of the squad getting a much needed boost.

Not my thing at all, but even my tired old ears can discern that these lasses are a cut above your average K-pop.

Fantastic news. I was talking to a couple of Durham fans (and sponsors) last week and things were looking pretty grim then, so this will have cheered them up no end.

I think I'm warming to it. Or perhaps I'm just warm. 🫠

Three matches in 30 hours for Emma was the deciding factor I think. Great fight back though, and good prep for Wimbledon.

BTS pics of Bruno waving that flag are emerging, so perhaps it's not AI after all.

keith b @peakflow.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

My thoughts were 'AI' when I first saw it, and the one with Aoife. They feel like stills that have been animated. Still not sure about the shirt. I don't think it's terrible, just too busy, like they didn't know when to stop adding thin stripes. Might look better with a front logo. Maybe.

Cooper is the surprise there, unless she's leaving for personal reasons?

Seeing this prompted me to pop it on. A perfect soundtrack for a sunny day. Reminds me of the time @eqp.bsky.social, @sulkrooms.bsky.social, @rickscottflynn.bsky.social, and I came down to Bexhill for A Day in the Sun. 2023?

Any thoughts on which team you'd prefer to face next season in the WSL2 Amy?

Fantastic article/interview, puts everything into perspective and cuts through all the hoo-ha.

Aye, perhaps not the best example, and I do agree that young players need a degree of nurturing, but I just feel EH is a bit too protective sometimes.

120

keith b @peakflow.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

Likewise, it concerns me when EH talks about Lewis Miley and other upcoming players, and keeps on saying they are so young and we have to protect them. LM is now 20. Other teams have no qualms about giving their younger players gametime (e.g. Ngumoha at Liverpool) and I wish EH would do the same.

keith b @peakflow.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

I think the very first track of yours I heard was "In the Witch Elm" and I'm pretty sure it was @maryannehobbs.bsky.social who played it.

110

keith b @peakflow.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

Yep, a mystery why Gosia hasn't had much game time, especially (as we've said before) against teams where her height would be an advantage. She'll be away in the summer I reckon, unfortunately.

Unused sub for three consecutive games, then not included at all against Forest and again today. Seems like Tanya just doesn't rate her.

That's right, no stage and a narrow standing area. All up close and personal. I was also at the front. We must have been standing next to each other!

Mogwai, April 1997, at the somewhat cramped Garden Bar of the now defunct Darlington Arts Centre. They had recorded one Peel Session at that point, and it was a few months before their debut album 'Mogwai Young Team' was released.

Same here. Even when we've played teams with a height advantage she doesn't get a look in. Very strange.
