![[ID: a digital painting depicting an
oil rig worker suspended by a harness and rope from a support beam, wearing a hard hat and reflective work gear. The worker looks off into the background, where a siren perches on a metal frame. The siren is depicted here as a creature with the upper torso of a woman, her arms taloned and scaled like a bird's claws. Another worker dangles limp in her hand, and blood is smeared across her mouth. The siren's long dark hair hangs down into the mist alongside the dead worker's severed rope. The worker in the foreground is in focus and drawn in muted oranges, and the rest of the artwork is done in shades of teal.
