We must never lose hope that world peace is achievable and we must always strive to make it happen. I know that, with everything happening in the world today, we can be tempted to think that such a peace is a pipe dream. That feeling is perfectly normal but it should not be final.

Some people wash their hands of politics, thinking all candidates are ususally as bad as each other and voting doesn't make any difference. While it may sometimes be true, this is not one of those times. If you know such a person, now is the time to slowly but surely change their mind.

This is what Peace looks like. Two countries at war for most of their history, now true friends. It takes vision and maturity to outgrow hatred and the prejudices of the past. Those who subdue their own people or think they need a gun to create peace have yet to learn this lesson.

The first recording of the Peace Talks project, Victor Hugo's inaugural address to the 2nd International Peace Congress, held in Paris in 1849, is now officially underway, soon to be released.
