Still want US produced foodstuffs? This is a comment in an article about a recent recall due to potential Salmonella contamination. Goodness only knows how many "incidents" are not announced (or simply ignored by the current administration).

Data on tourism to the USA - 14% decrease in international visitors in March 2025.
Economically a 1% drop in visitors equates to $1.8 billion in lost revenue.

Summary - the US is now running an annual trade deficit of $50 billion in tourism, compared with it's historical trade surplus.

Looks like the republicans don’t want energy prices to go up as much as other costs. Maybe time for Canada to put an export tax on energy related products. Generate some cash to help mitigate the impact of the tariffs on the economy.

Nothing beats the feeling of seeing a seed turn from a dried up scrap of life into a beautiful mature plant. Picking the tomatoes & cucumbers today reminded me of the dull & cold days of spring when I first planted them & seeing them germinate in the window propagator a few days later.
