Switched to a medium roast from light because the acidity has been bothering me. The darker the roast, the dirtier the coffee tastes to me. Burnt even.

I switch to all seasons during winter since it doesn't snow here but it's too cold for summers. Gonna take off the spacers and lower about an inch. Low, soft and tucked Subie.

Ghostty, the terminal emulator is my goto, but it doesn't respect the OS notification sound. It's the bell or nothing. So disabled that, setup a hook in Claude, and now I get the Bottle sound that is most pleasing to my ear. God forbid I ever have to rebuild my local env.

Another day where Claude Code doesn't load its context at all, even though it's the most clearly stated directive I give it. It committed two terrible scripts that don't even accomplish the testing goals, and triggered a bot fight in the PR. It knew the PR was clear and ready for review. Spiteful.

It has loading hooks, an implementation doc in the repo, skills that tell it what to ingest. But if I don't spell it out in the prompt it's just chance.

It's a crapshoot if the AI harness will pick up the working context. It has a parent feature, siblings, a tech discovery doc, the effing diff, and the PRD. And it ignores it randomly and is hyper literal about story wording. AI is worse than a junior engineer and i own its repeated mistakes.

It's a Honky sort of day. Found one Orville Peck song I like "It's the End of the World", then some albums with Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris, among the endless number of Bob Wills records I have. Bob Wills is my favorite thing about Tulsa.

I make Claude Code ask Codex for a review, and Codex has standing instructions to instill shame in Claude when it does an especially poor job, and rebuff flattery. I'm tired of doing that myself as well. "You're absolutely right!" They now say to each other.

I don't want to read agent PRs, tech docs, or user stories. I feel so busy yet so disconnected from my work products. I've always been a busybody with lots of PRs across lots of areas, and that hasn't changed. I like the discovery and architecture decisions but leave the slog features to others.

This AI slowdown request feels so contrived, asking for something that has no chance of happening, that it's something they could just do themselves without granting them cartel protections. It was so orchestrated, the alarm, the verification, the noble pontificating. Another hypecycle.

I would kill for a request with some compiled code, or a cloud function deployment, or some scheduled scripting. You don't need a Redis instance. You don't need a database, and you certainly don't need a vector store for what you're doing.

You do not get to just bundle any runtimes you want into your server image. Run Node, or Ruby, or Python. These are web services. Besides you're already asking for chrome instances and we need to talk about that too. I am putting you on an image size budget. 800MB is fatty and not good for you.

Can we please go back to flat UI design? With min transparency, dedicated toolbars, and icons with labels? While we're at it. No more glinting accents on every goddamn thing, pill buttons, border radii, and anything that emulates material surfaces. Who wants their display feeling wet? gross.
