Hey so my daughter wants to be Rumi from Kpop demonhunters for Halloween this year (surprise surprise). My question is does anyone know of a wood Mira wig that will fit a large adult head well? I really dont want to spend money online to realize it doesnt fit.

Where are you in Greece? There are a few hotspots for marine wildlife at least

Once I get a handle on handling them I am sure it will be more fun but for now I had one escape my grasp (luckily recaptured)

In semi professional news I am up to handling 5 of these cute Giant Kangaroo rats (with proper permits and training). Soon ill be able to qualify for designated biologist. Im still a large mammal guy but these guys are too cute(and fiesty).🦊🧪

Apologies for the long silence. New job and all is making it hard to keep up with social media. As a penalty I post bobcat kittens carried by their mom

Ever since I showed her the pictures and videos of the rattlesnake I saw during fieldwork she is obsessed with them. We alternate between YouTube videos like @rattlesnakes.bsky.social and livestreams.

Ah darn I need to be more active on it. I wish I had the money to spare right now because I'd love to test it out. Maybe next month. I will keep you posted

Hey camera trap peeps has anyone tried the new 4K Reconyx camera? I need some more cameras and I was wondering what the consensus is. 📷

...I am excited for what the future brings for me as this is a much needed change for both mental health, stability and growth. The trail camera images are not going anywhere so don't worry about that though.

In some personal news, Predator Detection and Deterrence as well as any other independent human-wildlife conflict I do will stop operations on June 15th. I am still taking clients but my goal is to leave everyone with a sustainable long term plan by June 15th. It's sad but...

Well the award for most cowardly, boot-lickingest academic society has squarely gone to the American Society of Microbiology, who has taken down features of various non-white scientists. Absolutely pathetic behavior. Those articles are now coming up as “under review”. Truly sickening cowardice here.
