Overall, we are barely 1% above our 2015–19 average level of productivity. While this quarter’s flat overall result is an improvement on the decline in the March quarter, the stagnant pattern across the economy remains a cause for concern.

In 2025-26, 177 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages were spoken/used with 45 considered strong and 113 being revived, according to the National Indigenous Languages Survey (NILS). The NILS 4 is the first to be co-designed with #Aboriginal and #TorresStraitIslander communities. (2/3)
