Wanna see something cool I've been building for @filtru.coffee ? I trained a bespoke, fully on-device ML model for recognising and classifying coffee related metadata! a 100mln parameter model fits in a 100MB on-demand download on the iOS app, neat!

I’m having really difficult time designing my indie app for Android, material feels so industrial and flat that I either have to compensate with stunning imagery or design my own custom UI components and loose out on accessibility and portability

Roasting coffee gives me great pleasure. Anybody wants samples sent?

While everyone's rushing to stylise their UIs with what iOS 26 "glassmorphism" will be, I took a stroll down memory lane… ❤️ Mac OS X Cheetah. Source code: github.com/bobek-baline...

I dunno, man - if you're going to do a tarrif on Apple, at least have the poetic justice to make it 30%

If you're not using LLM's to build out your #iOS Accessibility features you're doing it wrong. There's so much low-hanging fruit that it can do you'd be mad not to utilise it.

Managed to find some design time tonight and put this together! So many people complained it’s hard to find more bye guides in the app

Had a fun day out in Kraków today. It’s great to see a city filled with trees. 😍 Manchester in comparison is like a wind tunnel with all the concrete streets 🤡

Bobby Bobak 🇵🇱 @pbobak.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

It’s great for brainstorming or any form of response that should be vague/edge-casey. Every time I try to steer an LLM with longer and longer prompts I feel I might as well do it myself 🙃

Bobby Bobak 🇵🇱 @pbobak.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

Those are just charlatans, only once you understand how the tech. works under the hood you’ll see people are just delusional about a loosely formed auto-fill feature 🤪
