Just realized that how I interpret Dave and Tristan's relationship in Underside is how I wished The Batter treated Hugo instead of just OFFing the world. They have the same dilemma over the future of their sons, but Dave decided to sacrifice himself for him and The Batter, well, he's The Batter.

I have at least 8 OCs that are gingers and their whole deal is being gingers with glasses... 8 OCs... All with the same idea behind them... If you are having fun with your designs then that's what matters! But if you want to try and do something different, I recommend trying different heights.

What ppl are *actually* disagreeing on is what we think is the "right" way to respond to this, of which there isn't even any one "right" way. But there are certainly unhelpful, harmful ways to respond to it. The harm is being pointed out, sometimes calmly, sometimes not. Perhaps often not.

Conflict DE-esclation is key here. Many people are posting things that escalate conflict. Even if you agree with everything I have said here, this applies to you, too. If you're angry about people being hostile and irrational about this situation, do not also engage with them in anger. It wont help.

I don't like putting warnings on things, because I don't like looking at a blurry screen instead of an art piece that, to my perception, doesn't even need that warning. But that's because of what I've seen and been through, and I understand not everyone is and reacts the same.
