But yeah! Any advice would be helpful. I also haven't been really pushing my GoFundMe because I'm hanging in there, I get financial aid from school which has been very helpful. But anything is appreciated! I will probably point towards my Ko-fi in the future instead of GFM.

If anyone knows any good Vtubing tools or tricks, let me know. Kinda nervous, I don't really love my voice but it would be nice to play some games and draw on stream! I'm a bit awkward haha. I'd probably play retro games and stuff that would be easier to stream, my computer set up is kinda garbo.

I had events planned in early 2027, I'm kind of calling it quits for them, and I already closed my online shop. Anyway, I'm just saying all this out loud in case anyone has advice for someone starting out. I'm considering Twitch, but can't really afford a Vtuber model at the moment.

I got some money during the summer that I used to try to table some events and maybe try to make a profit, and I opened an online shop (which cost me like a dollar a month because of a promotion), and neither venture has been profitable.

I've kinda slowed down due to busy-ness and lack of motivation, and my backlog of art to post dried up a bit ago. Usually I have a lot of art to post kind of piecemeal, but I'm trying to just focus on comics basically. I'll still post when I can, but not 3 times a week as I was doing for awhile.

UPDATE: School starting soon, I've been slowing down posting now for a few weeks since I've moved. I need to kinda recenter, try to just enjoy art and not worry about posting for a bit. I'll be returning to regular posting and actually figure out a schedule that works in the future.

also this isn't a vaguepost and I'm not saying it's wrong to have people support you, and I'm not saying it's wrong to "make it". this is just about the feeling of not having made it and the weird things you have to do to make it. i guess making it in this context means making it out of poverty lol

i suppose making it's relative. making its having to compromise your anonymity & post a wistful pic of yourself & listing every identity group you belong to on GFM to get more sympathy. making it is having good SEO on your plea for help. making it is getting a job at Macys instead of McDonalds
