It’s amazing how many small pieces of plastic can be hidden in a small patch of seaweed Well done to Stonehaven Youth Club for removing 2.2kgs of waste from #Stonehaven Beach last night, most of which was fishing net & line plus small bits of plastic & fabric 1/2 #beachclean

Sometimes you’ve got to leave the dogs at home On Kirkton Road #stonehaven near the A90 exit, our founder/chair removed 4.3kgs of #litter incl a bag of recycling & 2 vapes Is this something you could do in YOUR area? Litter breeds litter. Less litter reduces the amount dropped.

Every dog walk is a litter pick. Been putting up @pawsonplastic.bsky.social posters in the wonderful Inch Park with Scotty and Brodie last night. Such a lovely place and litter was collected. The campaign is to encourage more people to bin their litter and to join a great cause.

Paws on Plastic @pawsonplastic.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Picking up some #litter while walking the dog is a simple idea but so effective where there are lots of us doing it as studies show fewer people drop litter when areas are clean It’s also great for #mentalhealth doing something that has an immediate, visible impact. Join us!

Paws on Plastic @pawsonplastic.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Would you be shocked if you saw us throw this bag of #litter into the sea?? Chances are a few people would object but that’s exactly the result of dropping litter at the beach like here in #Aberdeen If you REALLY love animals you don’t drop litter & pick up some when you can. Simple! Join us!

Lovely walk in Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park last night, and beginning to roll out @pawsonplastic.bsky.social’s Edinburgh campaign posters. Alas, no wildlife chose to put on a show, so here are the boys. And litter was collected. #litter #FriendsofBurdiehouseBurnValleyPark. #Edinburgh

A lesser known impact of picking up #litter is the boost it gives to our #mentalhealth You can immediately see the difference you’ve made, can be satisfied knowing that litter will not harm an animal or child, that it won’t reach the sea or be someone’s excuse to drop litter. Try it & see #dogs
