Pretty well written, sheds some good (good?) light on what it's like being a Nuke. I remember being in Indoc in 2011 before classing up A School. They told us about the "Skipjack Diving Team" name being coined after 3 suicides occured within the 12 months prior to my arrival. We joked about it a lot then, since we were a-hole 20 year olds and didn't know those guys, but it's definitely not an isolated incident in nuke school history. There was definitely pressure put on folks who were 'sadding out', seeking psych help and not fulfilling their duties. Some of which was warranted, as it was also a way for people who simply didn't want to fulfill their military contract to get out of the navy and avoid deployments. It's tough to know who is actually depressed and who is faking their way out of a hard time. Not sure what solutions could be, but something ought to change.
