The second MC's moment of realization that he might have been used. #pavuswrites / #pavuswip

image reads:

Ser Adrien Leone, curse bearer and champion, was alive. Despite it all, he was alive. In that moment of weakness, he could feel it all finally crashing down on his nerves, leaving him down on the floor fully. No tears flowed as he thought they would, only soundless sobs choke free.

Why him? Why not anyone else? There were hundreds, if not thousands of chosen champions picked by gods across the globe, and still, he’s the one that lives? Soldiers are dead. Kingdoms are falling. The people are frenzied. And he is alive for what fucking reason? He was nothing more important than that of his fellow. There were other knights whom had seen battle, war, genocide, the fall of holy courts—WHY HIM!? Adrien was nothing of importance to anyone outside of their sect. To them, he was still that cocky knight who found himself in confession every night admitting his sins to the stars above. But one dead god places him in the middle of a family travesty only caused by a progenitor?

image reads:
Thus, he lies there, still in front of the mirror, bleary eyed and tired. Too exhausted to cry. Too worn out to be angry. He had dreamt of this moment where he allowed his emotions to swell driven by vengeful thoughts and quiet rage. This was supposed to be a moment of noise; not jubilation or celebration, but one of heartache and resentment that he could have been at the side of his brothers, blade high knowing well that together they would have stood strong as they have against tyrants and monsters before. Oh God!—why have you abandoned us in our time of need? What have we done wrong to invoke your ire?

Have I not been faithful in your light? Have I not shown power in your name? I became good for you! Became loyal to you. Bled your enemies FOR YOU. Was I not good enough? Did I not bark loud enough?

Was I worthless this entire time?

y'all get that csp email? it really feels like ai was used bc so many assets were flagged and then the quick damage control? it just doesn't feel... human moderated.

#rkgk / #ocart / #sketch / #pavusart just a rushed mess for a tiktok to learn procreate.

text on image of person holding arms out aghast hearing a double breasted jacket and motorcycle helmet: "Why would you think any of this was a good idea?"

image of alexis with his arms crossed and eyes closed: "Probably because I'm a dangerous psychopath with a long history of violence." further text explains that he is a chaos god, fought the government, and ran his gang for more than a century.

person in helmet: "OH!" he is labeled as a member of alexis' gang.
alexis: "I don't understand how y'all keep forgetting that." he is labeled as their leader.

something small of my sad god oc and his equally sad god husband. i just wanted to write something small and get it out of my system. #pavuswrites link: ellipsus.com/read/3JEILYn...

text on image reads as:
Then there was another with two statues. He heard someone denote them as “the lovers reunited.” One of the statues was clean. It stood a man with long curly hair, adorned in furs and jewels. He stood outward, head down to curl towards the other, a hidden smile tucked away in shadow, his arm extended and a couple fingers missing on that hand. The other was dirty, but not filthy, as if they were in the middle of scrubbing away the old moss and dirty that once covered it.

casual thing i've learned while writing specifically prayers: yoink that shit from the pope/priests and take what you know and build from it. it's not great or 100%, but it makes it feel more real, if that makes sense.

Leone’s hands know violence, of course they do. Before they knew discipline, they knew fights and ugly brawls in the middle of the village and old clubs held in the belly of dirty bars and inns. They knew blood, bones, and torn flesh as well as they knew love and gentleness. And here? Here he couldn’t piece together why he hated the sight of that wounded fox. He couldn’t understand why the sight of him hurt him too.

“You need not listen to me, O’ Lord.” He whispers, cradling that fox’s head, “but guard this light not with purity, but with violence. Let him recoil at no sin and flinch at no horror, for he has seen the worst in me. If the gloom creeps close, let it take me rather than scour me clean. Breathe life within this corpse, at the cost of mine.”
