I'm in regular contact with the team and I'm impressed so far with the ongoing work and the attention they are paying to their responsibility to the island's habitats—not an easy task as the site has become overgrown and invasive species have crept in.

There are lots of charities that will accept second-hand clothing, which they sell on to help fund their charitable activities. There are also dozens of clothing and textile recycling bins across the ward.

Addiction is complicated and devastating. Yet, there is still far too much stigma directed towards those who are struggling. Outdated stereotypes that frame addiction as solely self-inflicted act as a major barrier to people seeking help. Addiction is a health issue.
