Urge Congress to Reauthorize the Older Americans Act
The Senate has done its job—now the House must act. On July 14, the Senate unanimously passed the bipartisan Older Americans Act (OAA) Reauthorization Act (S. 2120), legislation that protects vital services older adults rely on every day, including home delivered meals, senior centers, caregiver support, falls prevention programs, and healthy aging services. As one of nearly 5,000 community organizations in the national aging network, Serving Seniors sees firsthand how OAA programs help older adults remain healthy, independent, and connected. Congress must finish the job and reauthorize the Older Americans Act without delay. Send a message to your Representative today and urge them to support swift passage of OAA reauthorization.
