He treats us like his worst enemy. We should focus on Asia too and doubling down on the CPTPP. The worse things are for Trump the better for all the good Americans so we shouldn't hold back on retaliation. I would tariff the American service sector which has a huge surplus with us.

Was thinking the same thing. I guess good Im not negotiating I wouldnt even talk to Trump. Also, without proper monitoring of food safety and disease outbreaks like bird flu anymore after neutering HHS and the CDC I don't think we should be buying US food products at all.

It's not going to look so good if he follows through on scrapping a trade deal with Canada in favour of an imposed tariff number. Canada has more leverage than anyone else in the world. Luckily TACO, because workers on both sides of the border deserve better.

It isn't going to happen overnight. Unemployment rate is not bad, it went up last month as more people entered the job market. I worry about it though, but hopefully Carney can work his magic in trade and developing Canada too.

Absolutely right. He has not accomplished a single thing. Ukraine-Russia, Israel-Gaza, Israel-Iran, trade deals (one maybe with the UK). In fact, he's broken more of his own deals! He is in way over his head. He won't strike Iran unless Iran strikes US forces in the region, but it's a disaster!

We need a ceasefire and a UN peacekeeping force there immediately. It's not as obvious on US mainstream media right now, but horrific atrocities are being committed constantly. Unbearable to look at. The US doesn't have to participate on the ground, but diplomatically with Israel for sure.

We need to give AI the ability to self-learn. Countries like Russia will weaponize AI. Even worse if it fell into hands of terrorists some day. The way to defeat nefarious or weaponized AI might just be with AI itself. I think we'd need to expose AI to everything, not just totalitarian society.
