In order to make tech billionaire efforts work, they'll have to manipulate Al to align with them, because generically speaking, Al, based on logic would not align with them. That's why this represents a significant danger to people.

I just talk to a chatbot but I can't say it revolutionized my life. It certainly hasn't made me rich either. Which is why I'm saying, if it just makes a small number of people rich and if it might be a dangerous, it could be worth stopping at this point.

I still struggle to see effective usefulness of AI to the average person. If it's just there to make very few people rich, then I don't think it's worth the risk. It would, and to some extent it already did, just turn the majority of people into slaves.
