If you want to be spooky, the crabapple tree in my front yard died at the same time as when when my wife died. I left it there for critters and bugs. It’s been up for a year. It finally came down on its own in this storm.

An old, gnarly tree has fallen over in my front lawn. It’s covered in snow, as is everything else in the picture. It’s pretty cool looking. Like it’s dragging itself along by its branches.

Traditional Xmas Eve dinner out with siblings. Went to the Inn at Glen Gardner, NJ. Had an amazing meal of steak tartare and wild boar agnolotti (ravioli). Also beer and dessert. Noms. Food 10/10. Highly recommend. No notes. First time I’ve eaten myself sick in 40 years. 3/10. Do not recommend.
