FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands are pretty ridiculous.

I love the way twitch keeps adding to the top of it's UI more icons with red notification markers on them for me to completely ignore.

I get immensely frustrated when people dismiss Silent Hill f because "the main character is a high school girl" and that's cliché or whatever. Bucko, how old do you think Heather was? Interesting that this complaint only ever comes up for Japanese media. Western teenagers aren't cliché I guess???

Cross stitch recreating a difficult puzzle from pixel art game Void Stranger where the player must coerce three beavers on three different switches to open the exit. Under the puzzle are stitched the words "Beaver Bother".

you should treat a trans person today

"stop using anti transgender language"

instead of "thank you", say "here is $20"
instead of "hey can you grab the door", say "do you want me to send you money"
instead of "have a good day at work", say "here is $20"
instead of "how was your day", say "have $20"
instead of "good morning", say "let me give you money"

As ive been posting about watching star trek disco and picard, ive had plenty of folks tell me picard s3 is the really good one, it's the real TNG S8 everyone wanted. I'm halfway through it now and it is absolutely not that.

Oh my fucking god, this Goncourt thing is so stupid. They're making a big show of accusing a black author of writing his novel with AI and their "evidence" is a fucking right wing twitter account that feeded the book to an AI checker. Fuck right off. Those things have zero reliability.

researching japanese yokai when you can't read Kanji or Katakana is a weird thing like there's some english websites but then you'll stumble onto posts about how those sites don't cite their sources and make things up like I get what they mean but also... how do you fact check yokai descriptions?

Been thinking about doing a more traditional LP of Silent Hill f for a while and there it is. I love this game and I feel like a lot of people bounced off because of the combat so I'm gonna try to show what it's like when you play skilfully. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQx0...

i haven't played civ 7 and i don't care to but, from an outside perspective, the decision to make it so you change civilization 3 times during a game but your leader stays the same the entire time is so baffling to me. in what world does that make any sense.

actually Celeste is bad trans representation because it pushes an unrealistic standard trans people can't be expected to reliably reverse an extended hyper dash into a corner spike bunnyhop after smuggling a jellyfish out of a dream block on command. Most of us need 10 minutes to warm up first.
