I've been mostly posting on the other app but am gonna start doing more here. I help lead the @democrats.org content shop and am committed to improving the way Dems communicate online (more context attached.) Countless hurdles ahead. The work is hard because it is important.

You're right that there was a shift! After we posted The Graphic™️ (you know the one), I hosted a weeklong strategy retreat with the full DNC social team—where we rebuilt not just our content priorities, but our mindset/approach to approvals.

Our team receives nonstop feedback from everyone in the ecosystem about what to post & when. Not all of it is in good faith. Sometimes even the questions posed in good faith don't have solutions that can take the form of a pithy tweet or an IG carousel.

It is a 24/7 feedback loop that inherently clashes with the creative process.

So we stopped making content by committee. We're setting the agenda and the schedule now.

We received over 135M impressions across accounts during the month of March, and we're going to do more—and better—in April and the months to come.

Follow @TheDemocrats.

This is the official rapid response page of the Democratic Party, holding Trump and MAGA extremists accountable. Welcome to FactPost.

I'd really appreciate if you gave @factpostnews.bsky.social a follow. It's the DNC's new rapid-response arm, and it's run almost entirely by KamalaHQ alum. This team rewrote the rules of rapid response on social media last year. I'm interested to see how FactPost grows over the coming months.
