Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Reds, I have a load of old to recent UWS & Red News as well as old Red Issue (earliest Jan 06 & then pretty much complete from April 08 to Jan 15). I don’t want to tip them so free to a good home. If you’re in Bristol you can collect otherwise I can bring them up to Manchester mid-Oct. Please share! 132

Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 17/09/2026‘Round Midnight is so good for new (at least to me!) British artists. Love this Fauzia track 000
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Another season of United’s social media listing the team in number order rather than position order 001
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 25/08/20261. Remember when I took that home wine-making course and forgot how to drive? 2. Stupid like a fox! 3. I…don’t…know 4. I think he’s talking to you 5. There’s a doings a transpiring 061

Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 10/06/2026Strong words Darren, which need to be matched by strong policy action. Regulation of the platforms through which disorder is co-ordinated. Action against hostile foreign influence on UK politics. Caps on donations to parties and a ban on crypto donations. And the Govt and PM getting off X. 0152
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 03/06/2026Clear and thoughtful piece here by @stephenkb.bsky.social on what the Henry Nowak murder says about UK policing www.ft.com/content/aa94...ft.comWhat Henry Nowak’s murder does — and does not — tell us about policingKemi Badenoch says his killing needs to be seen as a ‘Stephen Lawrence moment’ but the failures in both cases differ 020
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 03/06/2026Come on @irishtimes.com, do better. These aren't "clashes", these are rioters attacking police. 010
Reposted by Paul DugganStephen Bush @stephenkb.bsky.social · 02/06/2026Every crime in which an ethnic or cultural minority is the perpetrator used to justify repression or worse of minorities. Every crime in which a minority is the victim used to argue for the idea that ethnic diversity is inherently unstable and should be reduced or eradicated. 352523783
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 30/05/2026This is an opinion expressed by a lot of match goers at United and tbh the outcome would be very much “me sowing / me reaping” 130
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 30/05/2026McGahern? Amongst Women or possibly the collection of short stories, Creatures of the Earth (aware that’s not a novel!) 020
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Does this include people who take Teams calls on trains? 000
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 09/05/2026This was one of my takeaways from Michael Crick’s biography of Farage - that in an age where 24 hour news demands content, Farage’s greatest ability was his availability 190
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 07/05/2026For me the best cover version ever. Although I also enjoy Just Got Paid Today 000
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 20/04/2026This is such sad news Justin. My condolences to his family and friends. 020

Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 13/03/2026I know that Lunch with the FT provides details of the restaurant and the bill, although this isn't a Lunch with the FT (Farage has previously had the pleasure). Agree that there could have been a note, I'm only aware because it was addressed on here earlier today. Pint reasonably priced for London! 110
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 13/03/2026Henry posted this earlier today. Eyewatering! bsky.app/profile/henr... 100
Paul Duggan @paulduggan.bsky.social · 10/03/2026Definitely something to that. Consider the use by Northern Irish unionists / loyalists of "Lundy" as a byword for a traitor, which I think persists for similar reasons as those you identify for Quilsing - the "Lund" start suits being delivered contemptuously. 010
