Tasting notes in Alt Text:

2023 The Pursuit On Seven Chardonnay

Colour - medium gold. Aromas – generous baked apple, Bartlet pear, saffron, clover flower, vanilla and a wisp of smoke. Palate - rich and oily on entry, both dense and silky across the palate, with tangy acidity offering lift, refreshment and significant length. Flavours of honeyed apple and pear with oak spice and vanilla in a supporting role. Blanched almonds, wet stone and concentrated fruit flavours linger on the finish.

2023 The Pursuit On Seven Pinot Noir

Colour - pale garnet. Aromas – moderate intensity of violets, red raspberry, wet clay, fresh bay leaf and dark roast coffee. Palate – richer than indicated by the nose, multi-dimensional with fine, moderate tannins, moderate acidity and satisfying length. A gamy note emerges to complicate the red raspberry and red currant, savoury herbs and restrained oak nuance. Bright, juicy fruit, earthiness and grippy tannins define the finish, indicating that this wine will benefit from 3-5 years of further bottle age.

Spring Equinox Celebration - A Year In 8 Seasons - TORONTO By: A YEAR IN 8 SEASONS A gathering to connect land | people | tradition ReMember You Belong Here Spring Equinox Celebration www.eventbrite.ca/e/spring-equ...
This is a time of year when people in the northern hemisphere, while still experiencing the persistent cold of Winter, are noticing the growing light and preparing for the sowing of Spring seeds.
Gather over a seasonal beverage and treat and explore the themes of the season. Draw on Nature’s intelligence and ask for her guidance. Reflect on and share the wisdoms received. Tap into the wisdom of early Spring with a 'Jam Ceremony' infused with embodied practices, inspiring reflection, resonant spoken word, and circle singing! Then, stay for some social time over a warm beverage and simple, seasonal snack.
Join us in taking cues from this season’s balance of night and day, as we practice holding our own balance while transitioning from the wintry season of rest to the season of new starts.

lay all your aches and yearnings
at the feet of this New Sun
give them over
to this bright new Light
where undreamt beloved things
might be found

Janis Ian is so talented and inspiring, as illustrated in the American Masters documentary. And if Bill Cosby’s hateful fear-mongering had been effective, her career may have been derailed. But her light is too bright to be snuffed out even by his great evil.
At the age of 16, Ian met comedian Bill Cosby backstage at a Smothers Brothers show where she was promoting "Society's Child". Since she was underage, she was accompanied by a chaperone while touring. After her set, Ian had been sleeping with her head on the lap of her chaperone (an older female family friend). According to Ian in a 2015 interview, she was told by her then manager that Cosby had interpreted their interaction as "lesbian" and as a result "had made it his business" to warn other television shows that Ian wasn't "suitable family entertainment" and "shouldn't be on television" because of her sexuality, thus attempting to blacklist her.[9][10][11] Although Ian would later come out, she states that at the time of the encounter with Cosby she had only been kissed once, by a boy she had a crush on, in broad daylight at summer camp.[12]
