I used to like going to Daily Kos a lot because it felt like a community. I read the contributors work and found some community stuff and it was home. Now it definitely feels very "velvet rope" with some people on one side and everyone else in the slurry of the masses on the other.

Every so often TCM brings me a movie that is so out there that it's hard to believe it was made. Yesterday that film was a crime-caper from 1968 titled They Came To Rob Las Vegas. At over two hours a little long for a movie like this, but a weird ride and oddly enjoyable bad movie.

Went to my first NY Liberty game yesterday and I have to say I've hardly ever had this level of fun at a sporting event. It was joyful and communal and just the opposite of sporting events where people yell aggressively. I loved it.
