This is an empty parking lot of a church near us that has a HuGE scandal happening. Turns out when you aren't nice to your daycard employees they walk out. Crazy. Side note - this same place didn't hire me when I applied two year ago. Hindsight is 20/20 for sure. They are still hiring. Suprise.

ost hysterectomy and endo diagnosis, we decided to try a more specific kind of food plan - heavy in leafy greens, and veggies, and fruits, and legumes. I am not a fan of leafy, she doesn't care for fruit (except straw and rasp berries). We both love veggies and beans. This might work...!

This is the house where LuuuuuuuceeeeeeE lives. She's a golden retriever, GF to our favorite neighborhood dog Watson, same breed, just derpy-er. When I walk Peanut past their backyard he slows down, which I assume is because he hopes Lucy is there. Not a fan of the boy dogs... welp...

Fun fact: I lost about 25-50% of my sense of smell after C*vd. I can't smell skunk, or dog food, or manure - totally NoT bad. I also cannot smell spoiled food. YiKes. I CAN however smell smoke and citrus where there is indeed No Smoke or Citrus. Good times.

Part of Our Blessed⁴ Life is our Capitol. For most of my life I've lived within an hour away from the seat of the state's government. I've taken tours of the building, dipped my feet in the fountain, attended festivals and events on the grounds and all around the city*. Crazy that it is Right. Here.

This morning's walk - this house owner has a pig. Not like a inside cat little piglet, but a BiG whole ass chonky hog with rough bristles, knee high. I know this because the darling girl has escaped the yard a few times. Nothing like "hey mom, is that... a pig?..." ... Me: "... again...?!"

Chickens! Our boro allows up to four chickens per household. I want chickens, but our landlord isn't convinced yet. These are alley neighbor chickens. They also have a hound dog. Peanut is ambivalent about both.

Our neighbor Judy across the street is an artist. She makes all kinds of art - but she changes the clothes of these crows on their banister seasonally. Her husband is Fucking Bob. He's a hot mess. He gets some grace now... he was diagnosed with lung cancer, but I have LoTS of stories about them.
