Had a chat with the wonderful David Gedge of The Wedding Present recently to discuss the upcoming new EP, the 40th Anniversary tour and boxset plus loads more. It's up now on the Silent Radio music site. See link below. Still one of the best indie bands around!

Amazing gig by The Beta Band last night at The Apollo Manc. Highlights included a stunning version of Dry The Rain, which had the crowd dancing, arms in the air, plus the brilliant Needles In My Eyes, Dog's Got A Bone and Squares. Glad they're back after 20 years! Top night!

Brilliant gig by Shack at Liverpool Olympia tonight. First gig by them in many years and well worth the wait! Sublime melodies, harmonies and great songwriting. Amazing gig!

Absolutely brilliant gig by Spiritualized in Manchester last night. Playing the Pure Phase album in full to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Beautifully mesmerising tunes. Still sounds as great today as it did in 95! Plus added bonus of full on 20 min version of Cop Shoot Cop as an encore. Great gig!
