Have decided it's quite a story for my Grands. Learned a lot. Yay for having location on my phone. Called 911, said a guy would be in parking lot to say where I was. 911 man said they knew exact location. Then, I heard sirens. Ride out of woods, like a deer on ATV, whoa. Over rocks, etc. Great care.

#2 So, detached leg from hip. Very much OUCH! 01/02 surgery. Rehab for a bit. Then home with walker. Then a cane. And, glad to report..shocking to doctors, by 03/21, I did a St. Patrick's 5k. Not running but in 55 minutes with no cane. Still, I needed positive brain stuff. DC/WH too disgusting.

Have been taking a "political" break. So, so sick of nothing at all being done. Sorry, DEMS..just too much talk. Someone please invoke the 25th. In the meantime on New Year's Eve morning. On a hike. I stepped on sneaky black ice covered by leaves. Fell. Broke my femur. Brought out of woods on ATV!

#3 Never screamed in my life but coming out of the woods on a trail..whew..really whew. Emergency room clothes cut off. New Years Eve..Yikes busy place. I was the one taking drugs. So surgery on 01/02! Broke my femur.

#2 Fast hard fall. Pete said, I'll pick you up..I said, "NO" I can tell I'm really hurt." I said I'm call 911..go to the parking lot and tell them where I am. 911 guy told me he could see my location. Heard the sirens. By then, shaking wildly..laying in snow, ice. Then, an ATV came. Put on a board.

So, you might know I walk a lot. Gorgeous morning 12/31. Friend called asked if I wanted to walk Bro and his dogs at wonderful old past farm by water. I wanted 217 miles for Dec and said only need 1.24 miles. I'm sharing my tracker. I had already done the early walk. Then, on a trail, I fell!

I've gone quiet also. No news..what would be new? "HE" did something terrible but no consequence. Yes, I watched all 7 seasons of West Wing! IK a show and missed the real look of the WH. I thought,DT doesn't know history, geography, etc.Who IS the U.S. leader? DT doesn't read.Morning briefings? WHO?

Were tangerines supposedly special? Not an orange which we would have anytime. Our little town had a movie in our theater and Santa came. I remember getting an orange there and a "golden book". I think he was the Post Master in really life.

I remember getting a tangerine, walnuts and, of course candy. But also, a candy cane that hung on the stocking. Oh, and the stockings were like high knee socks. Then, the store bought kind which heal quite a bit more.

Feeling the love of memories and the need to say, "Enjoy it all." Cliche'..it goes by. Today, gathering with 2 of my kids able to get AARP & families. (3rd only 34) but one grand 23! I had her Uncle when I was 23! And, of course, I remember it all..but, I don't remember how I got to be 77😂.

Today, Christmas this afternoon.Follow up picture was 7 years later.70th BDay surprise.Those rowdy kids were expected to be elegant.Then, I felt like a Queen at head of the table.I also thought other diners must have been nervous when they saw 7 kids walk in.Now, 7 years later, 77 ❤️🎄

Christmas, 13 years ago. The suggestion "Hey, let's get a picture with Mom/Nanny with the kids." Didn't turn out quite like a picture with The Queen. Should I have jumped over the back of the couch? Now, 4 are 20-23, 1-15,2-13..me? Ugh. 77. All taller than I.
