PClouds @patternedclouds.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

[kpdh/fic] interrupting usual p5/fe3h broadcast to say: do check out the very soft non-traditional ABO #polytrix yuri my talented and beautiful gf has been writing. Sharing for her w/ her permission ☺️ archiveofourown.org/works/681920...

A screencap of the title and summary of an Archive of our Own fanfic, by author named Barrhorn. The title is "my hands weave onto yours". The summary is as follows:

“If I’m going to be working on accepting this part of me,” Rumi continues, rolling her shoulders and flexing an arm briefly, “then maybe I should also embrace this other side of me.” She tries to smile. “You know, get it all over at once while we have some free time.”

Or: Post movie, Rumi decides to go off her suppressants and blockers. This is absolutely fine and not going to awaken anything in anyone.

Or: Zoey and Mira really need to have a conversation with Rumi.

[ferdibert] this but specifically with the "-dono" honorific Hubert uses for Ferdinand in JP language version. the impeccable flavour 😔👌❤️

[cracks knuckles] I'll give this a shot!!! Regardless of whether this list is correct, consider them all my recs too. Akeshuake fandom is so full of writing talent and all of these fics have driven me slightly insane in different ways (laughing, crying etc).

1. The Divine Comedy: "Ye Who Enter Here" by Atalan
2. Taxi receipt: "Daredevil" by ez_cookie (Maruki in Hokkaido)
3. Mazda RX-7: "In Tandem" by Convocated
4. Pirate ship keychain: Brigverse series by TzviaAriella
5. Morgana head wood keychain: "Even the Mountains Crumble" by rosegardenlake (still whole at journey's start...)
6. Diary Entry: "2014" by shouldbeworking (he was just a kid!!!!)
7. Mystery Taco: "Start Fresh" by SoManyJacks (unhinged. delicious)
8. Marigold: "marigolds" by colbub (ebook permanently on my phone)

Semi-sure:

1. The Phantoms band keychain: this one's hard bc there are 2 superbly spicy band AUs with this: either "crowded rooms and highways I call home" by sailboating, or "like phantoms, forever" by nexxis
2. Featherman doujin: SO MANY.....??? But I'm gonna pitch "for the stars and songs, for you too" by konbini_kun for the actual Grey mention

Pass :(
- blue fang
- Crow Red Jewel hairpin

the massage vignette collection one has an edge I Guess........mainly because it's the most written (relatively) so there's an urge to be like "I should try and finish this, it probably won't extend to too many words" lmao

[ferdibert] inaugural sketchy doodles + a thought about height differences

Pencil sketches of Ferdinand and Hubert from Fire Emblem Three Houses

Pencil sketches of Ferdinand and Hubert staring each other down pre-timeskip and post-timeskip. The pre-timeskip Ferdinand has to look up to yell at a smirking Hubert. Arrows point out the 13 cm height difference that Hubert looks down to meet Ferdinand's eye. In the post-timeskip, Ferdinand is taller and more cheerfully talking to Hubert while Hubert looks embarrassed. The same arrows as before indicate the 13 cm distance, but as Ferdinand has grown 5 cm taller, now it means that Hubert is looking down at Ferdinand's very kissable lips instead. Gay thoughts.

[fe3h] minor headcanon that the mage classes' flowy robes are all made of pure wool specifically to resist being set on fire by enemy mages over a long-range battlefield. Like they can still get nuked by big fire but at least they're less likely to stay lit and instead dramatically swish thru flames

A comparison of the lists of liked and disliked foods for Fire Emblem Three Houses characters, Hubert and Ferdinand. Lines indicate how Hubert likes every single food Ferdinand dislikes, while Ferdinand likes 7/15 foods that Hubert dislikes. The two of them only share one liked food, and have no shared disliked foods. I hate them. They should kiss

shoutout to every ferdibert writer/artist doing this specific brand of lord's work 😔🙏

A screencap of a Tumblr post by username candaru. The post reads: no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest. I'm doing this for their own good. End alt text

Where would you place your writing process on this alignment chart? 🤔

110

PClouds @patternedclouds.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

ferdibert opinion poll: Hopes!Hubert loses it @ the Twin Jewels idea bc: (a) balls joke (b) balls joke F clearly isnt aware of (c) as usual, even in nickname sense, Edelgard is superior to F (d) the idea of them being equals..?? (e) the idea of Hubert being a jewel...?? (f) [free space]

[fe3h/pre-ferdibert] had a good writing sprint today so for WIP Wednesday here is snippet from the enbarr escape au fic: a moment with somewhat-baby ferdinand and thinks-he's-not-baby-anymore hubert

[fe3h] it's WIP Wednesday and I don't really have a new full bit of something, but I've been typing some rough stuff on my phone some nights before bed as a character exercise on "the beagles return to their dorms post-TS", and these are bits I like

PClouds @patternedclouds.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

ahh thank you for the sweet encouragement! I don't actually feel too pressured, this post is just more comedic griping☺️I'm actually having fun just pecking at it when I have time, I do hope to get it to a finished story state eventually. Here's a bit of it that feels mostly ready if you like

4147

PClouds @patternedclouds.bsky.social · 06/02/2025

ok there's also this (sfw) one that I got based on cover alone and I'm only a few pages in and gotta say it's EXCELLLENT beagles + ferdibert story so far-- Ferdinand wakes up at his funeral with amnesia, forgetting all that happened in the 5 years timeskip, including his relationship with hubert

[ferdibert] tangential to this OP lmao but: srs poll, where do you prefer your top!Hubert on the 1-10 sliding scale from "beautiful pathetic service top" to "aggressive daddy dom" (I would ask also about top!ferdinand also but I feel like he has a Secret Third Thing)
