Even as a young adult in the 80’s I would see him covered on TV shows like Entertainment Tonight and I could see he was a slimy, smarmy, pick me wanna be. So gross. He and Ivana represented the worst of 80’s greed. Anyone who bothered to pay attention could see it.

It shows people don’t pay attention to things outside of their sphere. All you had to do was watch Entertainment Tonight because they covered him all the time. I was a young adult in the Midwest and knew who he was-a real smarmy creep. So gross.

I’ve done my share of zooming through a self checkout but if you’re face to face with another person in the checkout it would be nice to at least get a friendly greeting. If a cashier can’t acknowledge the person they’re helping then maybe that’s not the right job for them.

I used to do that as a kid. It was all the rage. So we’re macramé owls.

My French uncle had one of these. I got to ride in it as a kid. Super cool.

I first saw her work at an exhibit at the Chicago Cultural Center (The old public library) many years ago. It was a great show but just a drop in the bucket of her photographs.

I guess. In an old article during the Cubs run in ‘16 he said his wife got him some gift and the nascar jacket was part of it. He’s worn it to Chicago games ever since.
