A shame I only saw it like two years ago. What a film. A phenomenal cast. Even Leslie Nielsen was good in it, for whatever screen time he had. I remember liking the sequel as a kid, but I nowadays I hear it's a turd. 😆

Jedyny w swoim rodzaju #GrahamMasterton powraca z pierwszym podwodnym horrorem w swojej karierze. #Otchłań to zdecydowanie niezbyt oryginalny polski tytuł, ale na pewno uda mu się coś ciekawego wydobyć (pun intended) z tego konceptu. No i będzie to przepiękna książka w twardej oprawie!

Now that's a great comic book crossover. It really delivered. Not every limited series gets its own video game adaptation, people. And I never fully got over the fact that we didn't get a movie based on it, even if only in animated form.

MJ Bassett is a great director in any genre and #SolomonKane is literally my favourite fantasy film of all time. Absolutely captivating. Tense and dark, on the verge of becoming full blown horror. The girl understood that character perfectly. I even own the novelization.

Because nepo babies having great careers in Hollywood is mostly a myth. You have to have talent, something to offer to the audiences, to become a part of that industry. Rich parents can help you put your foot in the door, sure, but then what?

I would say it's not even mediocre, but outright bad, and that's what makes it great. 🤣 One of my childhood favourites, I rewatch it every few years and always have fun with it. But is it good? Fuck no. To me it's in the same category as Howard the Duck, which is also a terrible movie I love.

I've read #MrMercedes by #StephenKing. Much better than I expected, and then some. A great novel that works better as a study of #sociopathy than a crime mystery (because there is none), so perfect for me. King was cooking. I will read the rest of the trilogy for sure. And watch the show. 8.5/10.

Happy Birthday, Steve. Many wonderful memories with your novels and stories. Also, Maximum Overdrive is a very fun horror movie. A cult item for many. Embrace it already. No need to let it bring you down. You even got a decent performance out of Emilio Estevez, and that takes some skill.
