John Driscoll built a multibillion-dollar healthcare company by doing something most CEOs won't: Paying his workers a living wage. Now he's calling for a $25 minimum wage, because he's seen firsthand what happens when workers get paid a fair wage. connecticut.news12.com/2026/09/21/a...

John Driscoll, of Stamford, was CEO of CareCentrix and head of U.S. health care for Walgreens. His new book, "Pay the People!" argues that higher salaries equal more profitability – not less.
