i directed the last segment of this film called THE ELEPHANT. it comes out TOMORROW, fri dec 19th, on adult swim... and then landing on HBO MAX the next day, sat dec 20th. i found it really difficult to make. there's also a BTS that airs with it, i think. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tli7...

There's about one more hour until this auction ends (to raise money for those affected by LA fires). shorturl.at/lYISv includes original over the garden wall storyboards, development artwork, art books, comics, and... this guy...

HEY! I've got a bunch of stuff in @alexhirsh.bsky.social 's auction to raise money for the LA fires! Original concept drawings from OTGW pilot, rough storyboards, ugly copies of my out-of-print book BAGS, a little wooden guy, limited edition art books & comics, goofy sketches, etc! shorturl.at/lYISv

thanks! i had a tape of samuel ramey in mefistofele in high school and would listen to it on repeat. my grandfather was an opera singer, so my mom and i bonded over opera a bit over the years. deborah voigt was my moms suggestion -- we'd seen her perform at the met a few times

could i get any recommendations for alternatives to ipad for animation/storyboard/painting purposes? i'd like something with a good pressure-sensitivity, accurate color, can be used on its own but can also double as a external monitor (cintiq style). also want to be able to remove all web browsers.

I haven't really used bluesky much yet. Here are early brainstorming sketches & notes i drew & wrote when trying to think of ideas for that new OTGW short. I think i have more somewhere but i put them into a box already.

Aw thats sad about harry’s. That was one of my favorite spots. No music! Id get the “waist watchers” which was a halved canned peach, hamburger patty (no bun), a scoop of cottage cheese and i think slice or two of tomato.

some years ago i started an e-mailing list called "someb ooks fun club" to post fun little things, but i only sent 1 or 2 emails because it creeped me out how much mailchimp was tracking people. anyway, here's some free funclub content.

ah thanks! i kept clicking the other gear-looking button on the top right, thinking it was settings, but that's only for Edit My Feeds. i guess i should leave feedback for them that they should use different icons.
