Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 18/12/2024I naively hoped in 2020 that as a silver as a result of the pandemic, we’d adopt the norm many East Asian countries have of wearing a mask in public if you’re sick and coughing. But nope, everything has to be sorted by the big political polarization machine here. 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 14/12/2024Today's tea: Genmaicha. Easily my favorite way to have green tea and maybe my favorite tea over all. The toasted rice never fails to make me feel better. Like a warm blanket and a good book on a cold rainy night. 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 14/12/2024I LOVE how fat the squirrels and birds get around here this time of year. 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 10/12/2024Was feeling like a project after a lot of work, so I finally got gongfu tea brewing right. It takes so many quick measurements and lots of cups, but it was quite nice with my sashimi. Broke apart a new tea cake from @white2tea 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 09/12/2024For me, half the fun of buying from Chinese/Taiwanese tea dealers is that I often forget the purchase by the time it clears customs and one day a box of mysterious tea shows up at my doorstep. 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 06/12/2024Feels almost sacrilegious to make matcha when the wind chill is below zero, but I wanted to make use of my new bowl from Trader Joe's. Been a month or three without cold green tea as I shifted into red (black) teas and genmaicha, but it's still as yummy, earthy, and bright as I remembered. 000
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 06/12/2024Finally getting good at this #matcha thing 000

Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 05/12/2024I wish social media got back to being more social and less media. I miss people sharing their little food or pictures of their cats instead of their hot takes on Musk/Trump. I'm guilty of this and think I will make a point to try to be the change I want to see in 2025. Anyway here's my cacti. 010

Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 30/11/2024The more I read about the Department Of Government Efficiency the more it reads like big brother giving little brother an unplugged controller Or maybe to fit the week like when grandmother asks you to bring a bag of ice for Thanksgiving. 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Tamim Ansary's books on Eurasian history from an Asian/Islamic perspective are so good and I have almost no one to talk to about them. 000
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Tonight's tea: Margaret Hope's Moonlight Darjeeling first flush. Definitely one of the best teas I've ever had and one of the most expensive. This is a light floral version of the standard Darjeeling which feels almost like a grown-up version of silver needles white tea. 010
Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 27/11/20241. A Real Pain was very good if not an overall great film 2. It will be interesting to see what happens with the career of Kieran Culkin after he wins the Best Actor Oscar for this. 3. It's very funny that Jesse Eisenberg wrote, directed, produced, and stared in a scene about how sexy his feet are 000

Patrick loves tea 🍵 @patricklamascus.bsky.social · 26/11/2024Fun fact. The search term "bisexual" was blacklisted for Google's Instant Search until 2012, when it was removed at the request of the BiNet USA advocacy organization.advocate.comGoogle Removes Bisexual From Its List of Dirty WordsSince 2009 the word "bisexual," to Google, was only meant to find pornography.
