Tethered, chapter 1, page 13. The Vees are fully and properly welcomed into Pyre's office.

Panel 1: The Vees walk through the parted curtains of vines into a cenote that is lightly decorated with rustic, wooden furniture. At the opposite end of the room stands a tall figure in a green pinstriped suit. They're backlit by a glow emitting from a wide pool of water. The figure, clearly a sinner, smiles with a greeting. "Merry meet, dear Vees, and welcome to my grotto. I am Pyre P. Glabra."

Panel 2: The glow of the pool lightly coats their charcoal-like skin and long leafy hair. A pleasant scent of lavender wafts through the air from the tips of their twisted roots for horns. "How can I help you this eve?" they ask. Their eyes glow bright orange like a furnace.

Tethered, chapter 1, page 12. The Vees stand around criticizing the shabby lobby area. Vox is past done with this evening.

Panel 1: Valentino holds Vox's head to his side and holds his lit cigarette with another hand. He scoffs at a pair of black and white striped horns mounted within the foliage. "Imp horns? Tch, tacky."
Panel 2: A close-up of Velvette's phone shows a mostly blank screen with a sad face and the message: Failed to load page. Try again later. Velvette complains, "I was going to give this shithole zero stars, but I've got no signal! Once I get some bars, it's getting a negative 5 out of 5."
Panel 3: Vox speaks up sarcastically, "I'm so glad you fuckers dragged me to the bum-fuck-middle-of-nowhere in the middle of the fucking night for nothing. I could be watching 'Hold Me Gingerly' right now..." Both Val and Velvette brush off his statements entirely. Val takes a drag and exhales a long stream of pink smoke.
Panel 4: Velvette, "Hey, Val? Go easy on the smoke. Space is cramped." Val, "I'm not even smoking that much!" Velvette refers to the increasing amount of (white) smoke that has been steadily filling the room. No one seems to notice ivy and other leafage on the back wall is parting, like a curtain, letting in all of the extra smoke as well as a bright light.

Tethered, chapter 1, page 11. The Vees enter the shabby cottage. Inside somehow meets their expectations and yet surprises them.

Panel 1: Velvette opens the door, Valentino behind her, holding Vox. Velvette elbows Vox's face, "Hey, Val? Should we ask about daycare, too?" Val grins with his cigarette holder gripped in his fangs.
Panel 2: All three wear a shocked expression upon seeing the interior dimly lit by natural light through the only window.
Panel 3: Inside looks like outside: dirt floor with sparse grassy spots, the walls are purely ivy and decorated only by mounted imp horns, the ceiling matches the rooftop's colorful array of leaves and odd glowing orbs (the sky's red glow peeks through), from the ceiling hang a few mobiles made of bones, and lastly, a bench of bone and wood. It doesn't look stable or inviting to sit on.

Velvette, "How is the inside even worse?!" Val, "I can't believe we're here." Vox, "Obviously no one is here. How about we go home?" Both Val and Velvette scream, "NO."

As the viewer, you take on Vox's point of view. Al's very fluffy butt is front and center with his balls resting on Vox's abs. Vox holds Al's tail between his fingers while he thumbs his anus. A generous amount of lube dribbles down Al's balls and Vox's hand. Steam billows from Vox's gill vents. All that can be seen of Al's front are his ears and humongous antlers.

Tethered, chapter 1, page 9. Annoyed by Vox's unwillingness to agree to counseling, Velvette puts him in the night stand drawer (aka "time-out"). With a little more "convincing" from Valentino, Vox reluctantly agrees.

Panel 1: Vel, "That's it. Piss baby needs a time-out. Val?" Val (off panel) opens the drawer, "Sure." Vox, "Don't you dare! Not the drawer again!"
Panel 2: Vox, "VEL-NGH!" Vox is dropped into the drawer. He lands with a 'thunk' and the bottom left corner of his face cracks.
Panel 3: Val slams the drawer shut. A loud 'thud' can be heard from Vox falling over. Vox, "OW MY FACE!"
Panel 4: Vox (off panel), "I am a grown-ass man! Stop treating me like a damn child! Open this drawer right now!" Meanwhile, Val reaches over for the glass of whiskey.
Panel 5: Val, "Maybe I should demote you to a lobby screen..."
Panel 6: "...Then you can be sad and bored while displaying our ads on repeat all day, every day."
Panel 7: Vox, "...Ok, I'll go." Val, "Buen bebe." Vel, "Perf! We leave in 15 minutes." Vox, "We're going tonight?!"
Panel 8: Val and Vel are exiting the bedroom. Val, "The sooner, the better! For everyone's sanity." Vox, "Don't leave me in here! Let me out! Guys?! Can I at least have my tablet?"

Tethered, chapter 1, page 10. After a bit of a drive, the Vees finally reach Pyre's place deep in a forest on the outskirts of Cannibal Town.

Panel 1: Right-hand corner is a box, "Outskirts of Cannibal Town." The Vees complain about their trip. Vel, "Fuckin' finally! This bumpy road has made it impossible to text." Val, "At least you didn't spill on yourself. Twice." Vox, "You spilled on me, too." "Eh," replies an apathetic Val.
Panel 2: Pyre's cottage is a lone stone building coated in moss and surrounded by tall brush. Behind the cottage is a modest garden with a variety of colorful plants. Atop the cottage's thatch roof is more foliage, dotted with colorful leaves and glowing orbs. It's unclear what the orbs really are. Next to the front door is a tall, pink plant with long blue leaves trailing over its planter. The doormat reads 'Beware of Worm.' The singular window on the front of the building is tinted green and has a few large cracks across it. 'Pyre's' is painted in an arching, scripted font. Below it is an elblem featuring a beetle. Below that in calligraphy reads 'Pyre P. Glabra, Florals, Herbalism, Afterlife Counseling.'
Panel 3: Val sits with his legs crossed, Vox in his lap. One hand gently holds a lit cigarette, another holds a mostly empty glass of liquor. Vel sits on an adjacent seat wearing an expression of disgust. Vel, "Ew, Val! Do you see this dump?!" Val taps Vox's head, "You better make this worthwhile." Vox doesn't appreciate the tapping, comment, or the liquor dripping down his face.

Tethered, chapter 1, page 7. Val reads through the note that came with the plant and implies Vox may have a "secret admirer or side interest" of sorts. Vox denies both and screams at Val and Velvette for ignoring him.

Panel 2: Vox, "No, Val. I don't see anyone. I'm stuck here all day, every day." Val (off panel), "Sheesh, what's with the attitude?"
Panels 3: Vox, "What attitude?!"
Panel 4: One of the plants opens up and peeks through its gooey 'mouth' as Vox continues to scream, "I'm telling you I'm a hostage in my own home! Trapped in this fucking room with nothing to do and no one to talk to!"

Tethered, chapter 1, page 8. The boys continue to argue. Velvette breaks up the fight, hoisting up a comically rabid Vox. She thinks seeing Pyre might do some good. Vox has his opinions, as usual.

Panel 1: Val tosses away the note, "We wouldn't be gone all day running the company..."
Panel 2: (Val continues) "If someone wasn't so determined to kill himself and everyone else with him last month!" Vox, "I know you assholes have time in your schedules for five fucking minutes!"
Panel 3: Val, "Eres un pedazo de mierda triste!" Vox, "What was that?!"
Panel 4: Velvette, "Chill out, both of you!"
Panel 5: Velvette, "Vox, maybe this Glabra-twat can snap you out of this funk. You're not CEO anymore, but VoxTek stills needs you."

Updated cover page for my Hazbin Hotel comic, Tethered. Alastor (in his signature red suit) and Vox (in his signature blue suit) dance the salsa with Vox leading. He tries to hypnotize while supporting his weight in the dance pose; his left hand on Al's thigh scratches through Al's pants, making him bleed a little.

Alastor looks at the viewer with a wide, saliva-coated smile and his tongue out. His left arm rests on Vox's shoulder with his pinky holding Vox's smile. Vox has bitten him so a little blood streams down the side of Vox's face.

Both have a glowing lilac tether around their necks, which wraps around their hands and Al's leg as if to "keep each other in check." The bottom is the title spelled with the tether.

Aw man I ghosted again. Sorry about that. Social media wears me out the same way as grocery shopping does. My introverted soul needed a long break. I'll try to post some stuff soon. I have some things I'm pretty proud of actually. Until then, here's my cats (⁠｡⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠｡⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♡

I know this isn't a super original character design, but it still weirds me out how similar 2023 Vash the Stampede resembles my 2019 MHA oc/persona (art featured is c. 2021).

Doxxod (m, late 40s). Originally started as a Kingdom Hearts 2 fan oc, a Nobody with control over ice. Been around c.2004-ish. He's been a therapeutic and creative outlet, allowing me to make many friends via rping. Dox may have his own world eventually but for now he lives in the KH universe.

Sneak peak at my Halloween costume! Any guesses?? (I'll be incredibly impressed if anyone gets it at this stage of the costume).

Myself wearing a handmade headband. 4 wires attached to the headband hold up a white sign made of felt that says "Drift Away." On either side of the sign are orange and yellow "headlights." All materials are made of felt.
