I got an interesting email from @repdelbene.bsky.social It turns out she is not philosophically against forcing votes that will ultimately be unsuccessful. This vote failed 19-18. She just doesn't want to impeach Trump. Which is why she has voted to protect Trump from Impeachment THREE times now.

@repdelbene.bsky.social posts about tariffs a lot. She thinks they're bad. Here she even acknowledges some are illegal. But the Constitutional remedy is impeachment, not posts. And as a House member who has power to force an impeachment vote on this, not doing so makes you complicit.

Jamie Hererra Beutler was the "moderate" Republican who held the WA-03 seat before MGP. But if you compare GovTrack ideology score, MGP is actually to the right of JHB. You replaced a Republican with a Democrat who is more ideologically Republican than the Republican she replaced. Is that good?
