⭐🐙Party got TPK'd? Not sure what to do now? "Party Killer: How to get things back on track" to the rescue with variety of fun situations and hooks to aid your party in returning to their delightful, chaotic gremlin activities! For free or pwyw: ko-fi.com/s/36b58b9494 #ttrpg #GM #asset #free #pwyw

"Party Killer: How to get things back on track" cover.

A skull wearing a party hat sits on a stone floor, arrow piercing its side and a party blower in its mouth. It rests against a dagger and sack, with a single coin nearby. A light from above shines down on it.

A preview of a prompt/scenario from the PDF resource. It reads:
"Deus Ex Friend-ina"

"So, your party died. That sucks. A lot. Thankfully you made some friends earlier!

As the party’s spectral forms hover over their decimated bodies, they feel detached from time. Has it been only a few moments? Weeks? They aren’t entirely certain. After a little while though, a Non Player Character (NPC) they befriended comes looking for them, only to find their remains and ghosts.

The NPC knows of someone with the ability to revive the party, but it will take some time for the NPC to reach this person. The journey is sure to be filled with danger, so they ask the party to help protect them along the way.

This NPC need not be the helpless sack of flour you’d usually carry around for escort missions. They have their own experiences and abilities that helped them get through life.

Party members can interact with the NPC, learning more about their friend and potentially the world around them. If you want to limit the party’s ability to physically intervene, then they can provide words of wisdom or guidance to aid their NPC friend. They can even influence the NPC’s development and character arc, turning an otherwise timid support character into someone with more confidence. Or maybe their friend is extremely confident and reckless, and along the way the party discovers that this is simply a mask used to hide their personal struggles.

The “Deus Ex Friend-ina” encourages social interaction, exploration, and provides an opportunity for players to learn more about a character they’ve become familiar with. It can also provide a little bit of down time for the party to collect themselves after being defeated."

"The fastest way to accomplish The Project is to cease being afraid of The Project. The Project cannot maim you. The Project cannot kill you. The Project is more afraid of you than you are of it. It is okay if The Project turns out differently from how it was in your head, and it is okay if it has flaws. You are capable of engaging with The Project."

A panel from OAR chp 1 where Zarina is carrying the body of a person on her back. She has a pained expression. The caption reads: "Friend wants to show off their new car. It's a cybertruck."

A comic panel of zarina holding a weird fungus. The caption reads "When you get to give him the D."
