Ok I'm reading my first batman comics where Jason seems to have an important role and I already love him so frickin much 😭

I really love the most recent ones, I think they did a really good job at modernizing the story and its themes

Jason fans seem to be the coolest people too, they just love their traumatized little guy, I saw a lot of angsty edits I really liked~ and I didn't see much Damian fans which is a shame because I love him

From what I noticed my brain made a bad choice by being obsessed with Tim because his fandom seems to be a minefield while the Nightwing community seems to be chillest people ever

My Instagram feed finally caught on the fact I like batman and now I can finally discover what are the popular opinions in the fandom when I where just discovering everything blindly until now

I think I really want to do a Pokemon team for each robins, it's just so interesting to have all their different personalities 🤔

Update: now it's kind of a battle between Damian and Tim in my heart I just started reading about Damian and I'm liking him a lot and I've also read more about Tim and he does sometimes get on my nerves

I feel like batman is winning the hyperfixation war that's going on in my head, but I still don't feel the urge to make fanarts so it's not that big yet But waking up at 5am to read comics before going to school might be a little sign of my brain chemistry being altered...

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Read a couple more batman comics and Tim might be my favorite robin if not my favorite batman character, I didn't read much about the other robins but I feel like it'll be hard to beat him x^) Dick seems cool but he's only been a side character in the comics I read I still need to know him better

Welp now I know how it feels to see two specific interests of yours getting butchered right before your eyes :^D

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Plus the fact I waited two months to play it.... And that I was really hyped about the fact it was dubbed... I swear my disappointment is even bigger than if it hadn't been dubbed at all...

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Me taking 2hours to download and launch a game only to hear the worst voice acting performance ever probably doesn't help my tolerance

100

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I'm sorry I'm getting really angry at this very niche thing but I'm a really huge fan of french dubs and hearing one as awful as this is such an insult to all the great french voice actors we have ... Like I dunno THE ONES WHO DUBS THE SHOW

100

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

IT ACTUALLY SOUND LIKE A SHITTY PARODY BUT NOT EVEN A FUNNY ONE

100

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I WISHED I could explain how bad it is but I'm so distraught I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE WORDS ALL THE KIDS SOUND LIKE 30 YEARS OLD All the lines have zero sense of rhythm they all sound awful And I didn't even get to hear Stan (I love Stan's french voice) I just quit the game after two cutscene.

100

piaf. @patapiaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Okay I knew they didn't get the usual south park voice actor when they did the french dub for the fractured but whole... But I thought "oh I'm sure it's not THAT bad I'm already happy the game was dubbed 😃" ... THAT'S THE WORST FRENCH DUB I EVER HEARD
