Old Higgins Whiskey…Tops for taste! Cool matchbook that my friend Rich sent me a picture of. I’m thinking from the 1940’s based on my research? Contrary to popular belief, I am not the heir to the Old Higgins Whiskey empire. They share a solid name though…I need to find a bottle.

One day left in the Horror Not Hate Kickstarter campaign! Currently 114% funded at $23,135. Proceeds support pro-immigrant and pro-lgbtqia causes, plus it’s a killer horror anthology! I’m putting a few finishing touches my the art for “Murder Apes”, written by Tim Waggoner. bit.ly/HorrorNotHate

MLK Day reading: The Montgomery Story. A comic book about Martin Luther King Jr. from 1957. Illustrated by the great Sy Barry—best known for The Phantom, but doing something incredibly important here. Proof that comics have always been more than entertainment.

Make sure you go back HORROR NOT HATE on Kickstarter! It’s an anti-hate, anti-fascist horror anthology comic and it’s over half way to the goal, so let’s help them go all the way! It’s for a good cause, plus I illustrated one of the stories. www.kickstarter.com/projects/slo...
