But we must ask... Who watches the Watch Guy if we're all watching him?

I love that for you, thank you!

I actually did start using pen and paper more recently to structure my thoughts/day and it did help 😅 Also sitting down for something and setting a five minute timer to at least do that much works wonders for me too, I almost always end up doing more but the act of starting that way let's me begin

Honestly blows my mind every time I'm reminded that Marshall Sutcliffe also goes crazy style restoring watches on youtube. If there was a career I'm looking to emulate moving as I move forward with my life Marshall is not a bad bar to aim for 😅

my worst habit is my inability to do work at times when it would be easy to do work I only work at the least convenient time where I'm already tired instead of seizing any of the day that has just passed to accomplish things xD

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

also thanks for the pre-order reminder boss

030

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

literally nothing could have prepared me for the last sentence of this video LOL

050

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

great band though new EP rips

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

We've been grinding and that work is finally going to show itself. Safe to say this is not the first video J Ro will have had a hand in 😅

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I also have dipped my toes into a 4th TCG LOL I am unwell

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Finally feel like my head is above water after a wild three weeks of work/life/youtube, hoping to use the next few weeks to get ahead of my last quarter plans for the channel and start planning for 2027! New video out tomorrow 😅

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Oh yeah also the Umori companion enchantments Leyline Opalesence deck is on the backburner too xD

020

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Had some really unhinged Commander thoughts yesterday and now I'm torn between continuing to iterate on the Wingspan themed bird deck or just figure out what shell to use Sibsig Ceremony, Bridge from Below and Magus of the Bridge in 😅

260

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

that kind of seems like diverting my problem into the same but different problem haha

010

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Help me I am working on four different Commander decks now after only having two to start the year and trying to be more intentional with the format in general 😅

250

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Apparently this is a crazy Polyphia opinion but I actually think the mix they officially presented for Power In The Blood is dope af

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

We're back with a very exciting upload, the first in a FOUR part series going over the Top 8 at the 2006 World Championship and the incredible events and games that unfolded. Starting in the place where it all began: Makahito Mihara's Infamous Miscalulation. Video out now!

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I did consider the other Spans also

000

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

This was kind of where I was landing too. I do wish it was more thematically resonant but I fear the birds in this deck may be bringing the fishing pole to bear regardless.

110

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

If you have played Wingspan: Would you think the Magic card Fishing Pole was out of place in a Commander deck themed around the board game?

It's the Foundations Magic card 'Fishing Pole' and I love it dearly. It makes fish, but only if you go fishing. Great design 5/7

As the #1 Pacifism enjoyer I don't like this 😠

010

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Reality Fracture honestly has me excited about deckbuilding again, just so many sweet cards. Also every EDH deck I start cooking on becomes extremely unhinged very quickly xD

050

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Yeah that's the only time it feels playable and even then I often get distracted xD

001

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I think one of the true things I dislike about all the work I do is that I can't really listen to music while doing any of it. Maybe I'm just too easily distracted but I can't even write with music on really.

Where's my sexy Tarmogoyf Rebell 😠

190

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I have literally emailed Paul Cheon to interview him about this tournament so I can talk about two of my favourite decks of all time in one video LOL (Pickles and Sonic Boom)

101

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Okay so maybe I did not the best job of managing the expectations of how excited people would be that Goyf was returning to Standard LOL

180

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Today's video is technically a spoiler for #MTGxRealityFracture but it's also about a great player who's deck's genuinely changed how we think about Magic today. It's also a case for Foreshadow being a good Magic card, which feels like a very unhinged sentence. #mtgpartner

Yeah so this week's Hungry On Plane video is gonna be ever so slightly delayed it turns out 😅

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I feel like everytime I think to myself "Oh that would be good but I can't do that" in regards to YouTube stuff the thing inevitably gets done and I'm like "oh, maybe I was wrong"

030

Pastrytime @pastrytime.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I am a content creator and I also like final fantasy and I still can't tell if I should be responding to your message LOL

Okay so I think I might be covered here but that being said this also produced a ton of great recs so I'll be reaching out to most/all of you to see about any future work that might pop up as there's always cooking happening on the channel these days.
